Grace has devoted her career to bringing diverse communities together to work toward justice and equity. She brings experience in research, education administration, government, business, social service, as well as advocacy and organizing. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, singing, playing the piano, and writing.
Sarah Tang

Sarah believes that one is only free if all are free and has dedicated her career to advance social justice to see all people fulfill their full potential. She brings eight years of nonprofit experience in development, communications, and operations to CBCAC and holds a master’s of arts degree in Social Sector Leadership and Nonprofit Management from the University of Chicago. In her free time, you will find her trying a new recipe, tending to her plants and cats.
Wenyan Wang

Wenyan has a background in finance and data analysis. She likes traveling and photography. She is an animal lover with two cats and a dog.
Annie Lau

Before joining CBCAC, Annie worked in administration for over 20 years for a diverse range of organizations, including small business startups, large corporations, private sector & government department. She is passionate about providing service to the Chinese American community. She believes by working together, we can build a better community for the future.
Elizabeth Eisenlohr

Elizabeth has a passion for empowering the youth and making sure that their voices are heard. Working with CBCAC gives Elizabeth the chance to facilitate the youth-led program Origin as high schoolers begin to discover what they are passionate about. In her free time, you will find Elizabeth reading or attending concerts.
Clayton Xu

Clayton is a fan of cultural studies and politics. He is also passionate about social movements that promote social equality and better development conditions for underprivileged groups. Although being quiet sometimes, he can have lots of interesting thoughts in his mind. In his leisure time, you may find him watching sports games or learning to cook a new dish.
Yonggang Xiao
Civic Engagement Manager | yonggangxiao@cbcacchicago.org
Years of policy research and news reporting have convinced Yonggang that social prosperity lies in the community's prosperity. He looks forward to building a strong and close relationship with the Chinese American community to enhance civic engagement as a Community Manager. Yonggang served in the army, loves history, basketball, and animals, and has a cat “Pencil.”
